ABOUT ABOUT

The Evansville Fine Art Show™, happens on November 16-18, 2012, located at The Centre, a beautiful indoor facility that is accustomed to consumer events.  This is in one of the best art events in the Midwest, let alone Vanderburgh County, and draws people from the entire region.  This is not “just another art show” – it is a high quality, juried fine art and craft event with world-renowned and top-notch local artists who are selling their art in all forms of discipline including paintings, clay, glass, sculpture, fiber, wood, jewelry, photography and more.   Hot Works, the producer of the event, also has the award-winning Orchard Lake Fine Art Show®, which has been voted in the top 100 art shows in the country the last five years in a row (by Sunshine Artist Magazine), and in 2011, won four awards from Michigan Festivals and Events!   We bring the same quality art to Evansville.  Event hours are Friday, November 16, from 11am-7pm; Saturday, November 17, 10am-5pm; and Sunday, November 18, from 10am-5pm.  There is no show like this within 100 miles! The event will bring much economic impact into Evansville and its surrounding communities.

Evansville is the Metropolitan Center for the Tri-State Regions of southwest Indiana, northwest Kentucky and southern Illinois; our goal is to build this event to be one of the best in the Midwest.  Hot Works has met with City Officials who have agreed to work together on making this event a huge regional success.  As always, Hot Works will heavily promote the event, including local broadcast TV, print, media, radio and social media.  The Convention & Visitors Bureau has agreed to market the event outside of Evansville, to reach the nearby cities of St. Louis, Louisville, Nashville and Indianapolis.  The event will open with a ribbon cutting ceremony, hosted by Mayor Lloyd Winnecke.  The University of Evansville and the University of Southern Indiana will both be participating with an Emerging Artists section.  The Southwest Indiana Arts Council will be part of the event, too, and will help Hot Works reach out to the local artists.  With the major players behind the event, and plenty of free parking, this city has great potential for this kind of quality art show.
